The Introductory Meeting is vital. The 2 Corinthians 1 purpose of the group will be discussed, and time will be spent getting more acquainted with each participant.
Lesson One talked about our spiritual successes in life. Lesson Two recognizes that we still fall short. Opening up about our challenges in life is key to our growth.
Lesson Four looks at how transparent the Scriptures are. We see pictures of positive examples, poor examples, those who start well but end poorly, and vice versa.
Lesson Six looks beyond the superficial as God looks at the heart of the individual. Where is your heart? God wants to reveal the depths of your heart.
Lesson Eight looks at the effects of sin from Genesis 3 to today. What is now broken in our spiritual, emotional, intellectual, relational, and physical beings?
Lesson Twelve examines aspects of our intellectual being. The Bible teaches us to be more concerned with wisdom and how to apply what we know in the fear of the Lord.
Lesson Twenty - Sanctification: Am I Willing to be in This for the Long Haul?
Lesson Twenty addresses the sanctification process. This is not a one-and-done work. Sanctification will occur throughout our life on earth. Are you in for the long haul?
Lesson Twenty-Two - Action Step One
Take it to Jesus
There has been a great deal of "soul-searching" over the course of these lessons. Would you take the step of telling Jesus what you have learned about yourself?
Lesson Seven looks at the original design of God for all of His creation. A look at Genesis 1-2 examines the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, relational, and physical aspects.
Lesson Twenty-One - Submission: Am I Willing to Submit My Life to the Authority of God?
Submission to authority is not always an easy thing for men to do, even submitting to God. This is a very revealing lesson on where we are in our journey.
